JMA Wireless Exhibits at HITEC 2015 - the World’s Largest Hospitality Technology Conference

Attendees can experience JMA’s innovative wireless communications solutions connecting guests and staff in hotels around the globe

Austin, TX [HITEC] – June 15, 2015 -- JMA Wireless, a global innovator of wireless communications solutions, is exhibiting at the world’s largest hospitality technology event, HITEC (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference).  Since 1972 this conference has been bringing together leaders in the hospitality and technology industries, and at this year’s event over 300 exhibitors and approximately 5,500 attendees will be participating.  HITEC is being held June 15-18 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.  At the JMA booth (#1827) attendees can experience an extensive portfolio of wireless solutions including the next generation of the company’s Teko DAS platform known as C-DAS or Centralized Distributed Antenna System.  C-DAS provides significantly better utilization by centralizing resources to enable cellular coverage and capacity for various environments such as metro areas and campuses.

“Many metro areas include a mixture of hotels, convention centers, entertainment venues and business offices.  With the C-DAS solution valuable, revenue generating hotel space is not used to house the wireless infrastructure,” stated Todd Landry, Corporate Vice President of Product and Market Strategy at JMA Wireless.  “Instead it is centralized off-premise to cost efficiently meet the mobile communications needs of many venues in a metro area.”

The C-DAS solution preserves valuable onsite resort real estate by enabling centralized RAN serving locations or central BTS (Base Transceiver Station) hotels to support the cellular coverage and capacity needs of the surrounding facilities.  Multiple operators and multiple bands are converged onto a minimum set of fiber, thereby, reducing the required connectivity to locations by up to 10 times.  Centralized administration uses an integral supervisory channel across the fiber to streamline operations.

In addition to demonstrating C-DAS, JMA Wireless also will display its extensive portfolio of universal compression connectors, antenna options, and factory-built jumpers, which are PIM optimized and engineered for macro, small cell, outdoor DAS and in-building DAS needs.  Furthermore, metro areas or resorts like to ensure an appealing environment; therefore, they turn to antenna concealment options, which will be on exhibit in the JMA Wireless booth (#1827) as well.
